Titanya and Dondi's Belly Dance Goddess Workshop
October 11 - 13, 2013 Omega Institute, Rhinebeck, New York No dance experience is
required to participate in this Belly Dance Goddess Weekend, where all women are invited to unlock the secrets of the world’s
oldest dance form. No matter what your size, shape, color, or background is, you can feel sexy and powerful through belly
dance.
Guided by Titanya Dahlin
and Dondi Dahlin, we learn about ancient, folkloric, cabaret, and modern belly dance, as well as Middle Eastern dance history,
music, and culture. We also learn fun combinations, easy-to-follow techniques, and soulful improvisations.
Along the way, we discover something subtle yet powerful—confidence,
self-empowerment, and compassion for ourselves.
“Almost every participant who has ever taken our workshop says they feel more beautiful, talented, and
skilled than they have ever felt,” Titanya and Dondi say. “People tell us they are inspired to try new things,
enroll in dance classes back home, exercise, and get out and meet new people. But most important is that they tell us they
love their bodies for the first time in their lives.”
Dress comfortably and bring a full skirt and veil, if you have them.
